Our
Goal
The Austin Independent School District has an interest in
informing families about summer programs for children. We
seek to keep children actively engaged, creatively challenged,
physically active and safe during their time off from school.
This
web site - AustinSummer.org - will serve as a clearinghouse
for information on summer programs for children and youth
(teens).
Listing
Agreement - Please Read

Any organization, government entity or private business
may list summer programs for children. The programs should
be age-appropriate, legal and safe.
- Listings
are now being taken for Summer 2008.
- Nonprofit
and government entities may list programs and camps for
free.
- Business
listings will cost $30, payable in five business days. Those
listings not paid will be deleted.
- Once
you submit a listing, it will be reviewed for propriety,
then posted, usually within 24 hours.
- All
listings will remain online at AustinSummer.org until after
summer 2008.
- There
are no guarantees implied or stated about AustinSummer.org
- The
Austin Independent School District reserves the right to
refuse ANY listing for any reason. Deletions will be
made only when necessary, but they will be made without
delay. This is a children's resource and their interests
will come first.
Listing
Standards
Whatever is entered on the listing form will be what is displayed.
It will reflect on your organization.
- Check
your spelling before hitting the "Submit" button.
- Be
concise. Each field has a limited capacity.
- Limit
yourself to one posting per camp or program. For example,
if your organization runs one camp at 10 sites, that is
ONE listing.
- Minimize
abbreviations - do not assume people would know what they
mean. Example: do not use 7/4 for July.

is a service of AISD Department of School, Family and Community
Education.
